Chritian Nicoletta

After a long time experience in the field of education as a teacher for kids and for disabled, he graduated at DAMS Cinema in 2009, after an academic year scholarship in film at University of California UCSC. He attended MAIA Workshop for emerging european producers in 2011. He worked in feature films and documentary productions as assistant producer, translator and location scouting. In 2014 he produced and directed The dream coach 52’, 2014. The film was premiered at New York Kicking and Screening Festival in 2014, won the Mention D’Honneur at Milan Movie and TV Sport Festival 2015, distributed in USA by IGOTTHIS . In 2016 he is co-founder of ALPA, Association of Ligurian Audiovisual Producers. He is producing Five lands, a man 2019, coproduced with Four Rooms, with the support of Liguria Fund. He is producing the documentary Fight for the ball ITA-S AFRICA 2019, shot in Ghana, co-produced with Sylvia Vollenhoven from Vision In Africa.

Jonathan Weiner

Jonathan Weiner is a 30-year old individual who works with special needs children. At the Forum School in Waldwick, NJ, Jonathan helps teach the subject manner, helps with difficult behaviors, and helps manage the classroom. In addition, he also leads Morning Circle for the younger children. He is even featured on the front of the Forum School flyer. Jonathan started working there in September of 2014. Aside from working, Jonathan is very musically talented. He received his BA in Musical Studies at William Paterson University. He has been singing in choirs since the age of 10. Jonathan currently participates with the Pro Arte Chorale, which is a community choir based in Ridgewood, NJ. He also sings with the adult choir at St. Philip the Apostle Church in Saddle Brook, NJ. Jonathan also plays the piano, which he started taking lessons when he was seven. He accompanies his mother, who directs the children’s choir at St. Philip the Apostle Church. Along with music, Jonathan also enjoys video editing. He has his own YouTube channel, which he makes his own little series titled “Popular Culture.” Jonathan has also created video projects for two events that were held at Montclair State University; The Curtain Call Awards and the Autism NJ Fundraiser. Jonathan currently resides in his own apartment in Mahwah.

Lucía Andújar Llosa

Lucia is a documentary film director and producer. She holds degrees on film, anthropology and digital culture. Along her career, she has developed broadcast and theatrical documentaries for Spanish tv, BBC and cinema theatres, among others and she also develops social projects based on participation, co-creation and pedagogical intervention. Since 2011, Lucía explores the intersections between traditional documentary and digital narratives in the creation of projects with social concerns. Currently, Lucía is part of Quepo, an audovisual collective based in Barcelona, that creates communication strategias for social change. She also directs, an interactive documentary creators hub at Documenta Madrid Festival.

Conceptual Artist & Mixed Reality Developer
Luciano is a conceptual artist and mixed reality developer. Graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld academy of art and the applied physics faculty of the University of Twente he walks on parallel paths. Combining his fascination for tech and art he develops new experiences with immersive media. Examples include the first augmented reality dress with fashion designer Marga Weimans, nominated for the Rotterdam Design Award and exhibited at museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, the first augmented reality schoolyard for children at the Steve JobsSchools, the first augmented reality techno opera of Mathis Nitschke, performed on location in Munich, Germany. As conceptual artist he researches that which does not exist. His art work was exhibited in Amsterdam, Berlin, London & New York. Luciano teaches at the St Joost academy of art on the subject of innovation. He has given numerous workshop on AR / Unity and has been an inspirational speaker on the subject.

Otilia Babara is a documentary filmmaker from Moldova, currently based in Brussels. In 2015 she graduated from the documentary masters DocNomads. She directed and produced several short films in different European countries, namely Irene (2015), selected for several international lm festivals, and Women on Canvas (2009), which was awarded at the Astra Film Festival and Cronograf Film Festival. Her subjects are often invisible people: those who have something valuable to share with the rest of us, but whose voice is rarely heard. Whether by chance or unconscious decision, her protagonists always end up being women. Love is not an Orange is her first feature documentary.

Petra Bertalanič is a linguist. Since 2014, she plays the role of transmedia producer at the Institute for Transmedia Design, communicating across mediums and cultures and thus building bridges between them. As transmedia producer she was involved in various international projects including managing, planning and development, as well as production and maintenance of story continuity across multiple platforms. She has produced several EU funded projects such as Ukrainian Sheriffs, Future Architecture Platform, Maribor Friendly Home, to name a few.

Virtual reality technology fascinated him so greatly that he gave up the architect's work and co-founded the Pictureworks studio in 2016. Currently, he design and program VR environment and also create visualization and 3d animation. One of his dreams is to walk around pre-war Warsaw and he actively work to accomplish it - even in virtual reality.

Although having produced several linear short films and documentaries, Ricardo de Almeida has been shifting his attention to new ways of telling stories and reaching people. In the last years, his interested have gone to Stereoscopy, interactive documentaries and lately VR & AR content, being present in several training events such as: Lisbon docs Labs, MEDIA i_doc workshop at Nyon, MEDIA S3D training (Avance Rapide) in Paris and Multiplatform Business School in Ronda, Spain.
Currently, editing the documentary “A river that brought me”, a cross-media project about the journey of Portuguese writer José Luis Peixoto in a remote river in the amazons and developing “Behind the Craft”, an European project inspired by the project “Os Antropolojistas”.

Sara Božanić is a CEO of the Institute for Transmedia Design, based in Slovenia. She is a ‘hybrid’ – a designer, strategist, educator and thinker. She has been working for many years on the promotion of transmedia design disciplines in Slovenia, organizing events, designing labs and lectures. As a consultant she has worked on various international projects. In 2015 she has been chosen among 40 EU consultants who work on audience development via digital means to take part in policy debates under the project The Voice of Culture ‒ a Structured Dialogue between the European Commission and the cultural sector.
In 2011, she received a Young Creative Entrepreneur Media Award by the British Council for her achievements in the development of the interactive media design sector in Slovenia.
Sara believes that digital opens new paths to the public and fosters an endless series of design possibilities.

Sonja Bozic is a multi-award-winning filmmaker and professor. Serbian native and New York City based, she has edited, directed, and produced a wide range of video forms that have been screened at the festivals internationally, including the Cannes Film Festival, and she participated in the 2013 Tribeca Hackathon as part of Frontline/ProPublica team. Sonja was on the committee of organizers for the Media Festival at the 2009 NAB/BEA conference in Las Vegas. Sonja is currently teaching film editing at the New School, New York City and transmedia at Montclair State University, New Jersey. She earned her PhD in Transmedia Storytelling at Ohio University, where her transmedia research was nominated for the Trisolini Fellowship Award. She also attended Producing Fundamentals Intensive at School of Professional Studies, New York University.

Tamara Shogaolu's work as a director and video artist has been featured at film festivals, galleries, and museums internationally, such as the National Gallery of Indonesia and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. She holds an MFA from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, where she was a Burton Lewis Endowed Scholar for Directing. She was also a Fulbright Scholar in Egypt, Luce Scholar in Indonesia and an Academy Nicholls Fellowship Semifinalist. Her latest award-winning animated short, HALF A LIFE, has screened at festivals including the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, Sheffield Doc/Fest, Frameline 41 and was shortlisted for a 2017 Iris Prize. She is based in Amsterdam where she is working on an interactive virtual reality animated documentary that challenges homophobia and Islamophobia through intimate stories of women, as Creative Director of Ado Ato Pictures and a member of the virtual reality incubator VRBASE.

Born in Lisbon in 1979, he graduated in Communication Sciences and Culture in Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, has a postgraduate degree in Communication Systems and Multimedia by the same institution, made a Documentary Course at Lisbon Videotheque, the Mobile Emotions and Internet Broadcasting workshop with Igor Stromajer at CEM, participated in the Storydoc International Training - The Co-Production Experience, attended to Financing and Co-production at Lisbon Docs and participated to the Eurodoc 2015 and last year was selected do develop a interactive documentary project at EsoDoc.
He directed several documentaries - Skinheads - Rebels with a Cause!, About Macao, Lisbon as a Toy, Alvim's Fados and Songs, Moments of Life, The Grace of Being Poor, For the Crowd's Joy, The Girl Dance and Acacia. He has produced films that have been presented in several international festivals and has some winnings. The short experimental film Running the won category the for Best Animation in the Swan Lake: Moving Image and Music Awards in 2005 and with Moments of Life won the category of Best Short film at Short and Arrábida Docs in 2012. Accomplished several TV and Internet broadcasting with Alvim's Fados and Songs at RTP2, Lisbon as a Toy at Canal 180, several short length documentaries at the online edition of the newspaper Público and recently sold the feature length documentary The Girl Dance to TDM, in Macau/China. Also, this last documentary had various commercial screenings in Portugal.
Recently he finished the web documentary "Os Antropolojistas", a new feature-length documentary "Te Entiendo" (developed at Eurodoc) and he has at late development stage a new interactive documentary, "Sex On Wheels" (developed at EsoDoc). This 3 projects have the financial support of ICA(Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual).

Adrià Lahuerta

Filmmaker and Producer
He is a filmmaker and producer. He graduated in Cinema Studies in 2008 in CECC, Barcelona, and attended workshops in EICTV with Carlota Coloma, San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. They received the “Emerging Talent” mention by Fostering Arts and Design Barcelona (FAD) in 2011. They are the executive producers and founders of 15-L. Films, an independent film production company based in Barcelona since 2009, aimed to feature documentaries with an international impact. Their productions have been selected for a number of international film festivals and shown is venues such as CCCB, la Biennale di Venezia… Among their last productions, the feature documentary “Pequeñas Mentiras Piadosas – The Travel Agent” (2015), directed by Niccolò Bruna and shot in Cuba, is distributed worldwide by Pragda and Feel Sales, selected in many international festivals and awarded with the Honourable Mention in MiradasDoc. Since 2013, within 15-L. Films, they open a line of investigation on cross media projects and new platforms, collaborating with interaction designers.

Beri Shalmashi

Writer and Director
Beri Shalmashi is a writer and director. During her studies at the Netherlands Film Academy in 2008 she wins the ECHO Award as most excellent bicultural student in higher education. That same year, Beri graduates with an MA degree at the Utrecht School of Arts, as a film director. She makes several well-received films, including ‘Mama’ in 2010 that she co-writes and directs with Sanne Vogel and that gets them a nomination for a Golden Calf for best television film. After graduation, Shalmashi has lived in Los Angeles, Cairo and Erbil where she tutored film at Iraqi Kurdistan’s oldest university. Together with Willem Capteyn she wrote the adaptation of Kader Abdolah’s best seller ‘The House of the mosque’ and she has new work in development supported by the Mediafund, such as a miniseries called ‘Circus Iraq’ and this transmedial documentary ‘Big Village’. She writes for newspaper de Volkskrant on a regular base and is in postproduction with a short film she recently directed in Erbil, ‘Shouted from the rooftops’.

Can Aksan was born in 1992, he lives and works between Milan, Istanbul and London. Graduated from Politecnico di Milano, Science of Architecture. Giorgia is born in Rome 1981. She lives in Lugano where she works as a freelance Art Director, Motion Graphic Artist and Video Editor mainly for the Swiss national broadcast and for the collective REC. She is the founder of IlogicaLab, a creative laboratory which produces TV and web series, spots and social campaigns for non-profit organizations and projects. Between 2005 and 2014 she has worked for ROME REPORTS, a multi-lingual press agency that provide services for ABC News (USA), Al Jazeera (Qatar), CNN (USA) among others.

Iva Radivojevic

Iva Radivojevic is a Brooklyn based filmmaker who spent her early years in Yugoslavia and Cyprus. Her films have screened at NYFF, SXSW, Rotterdam IFF, HotDocs, Museum of Modern Art (NYC), PBS, New York Times Op-Docs. She is the recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship, Princess Grace Special Project Award and Princess Grace Film Fellowship and was named one of 25 New Faces of Independent Film by Filmmaker Magazine. 
Her debut feature length documentary Evaporating Borders, has received numerous awards worldwide, was nominated for an International Documentary Association (IDA) Award, a Cinema Eye Honors Spotlight Award and received One World Media Award for Refugee Reporting. Her film Notes From The Border was commissioned for the launch of Field of Vision, a new documentary unit founded by Laura Poitras, AJ Schnack and Charlotte Cook. 
When not working on her own films, Iva edits both documentary and narrative films. She is currently working on her new film Aleph, inspired by Borges.

Jan Joost Verhoef

Leading Designer, Animator and Writer
Jan Joost Verhoef (born in Ermelo, The Netherlands, 1985) is an animator and digital artist, living and working in Berlin. He holds a BA in Design from ArtEZ, Zwolle in the Netherlands, where he graduated in 2011 with a nomination for the Academieprijs. He is part of Formzoo, design & animation, together with Markus Günther and Stefanie Kolb. His graduation short animation “Plunge” won the Fakkelteit Award at Beeldbuis Festival and has been licensed by MTV2 for Liquid Television, was selected by Vimeo’s Staff Picks, Stash Magazine, Behance’s Motion Served, and featured on many other online platforms. Verhoef has worked with Lucas de Man from Stichting Nieuwe Helden since the Artists in Public Festival in Belgrade in 2009. For their theatrical adaptation of “Fight Club” called “De Club (2010)”, and its successors (2011-2012) Verhoef developed the visual identity as well as an interactive online experience. For OOG Den Bosch Verhoef worked with Stichting Nieuwe Helden to animate and direct a 15 minute short film as part of 5 installations suspended from the facades of buildings across Den Bosch, the Netherlands. For OP.RECHT MECHELEN Verhoef made an extended, re-imagined version of OOG with Stichting Nieuwe Helden. He has directed animated short films for Save the Children, Yellow Lounge, Fire Fly Festival, Robert Bosch Stiftung, developed on interactive projection mapping experience with Lichtfaktor and SHANGHAI-BERLIN for Schott. Verhoef has worked as an animator with Christian Spück on the opera “La Damnation de Faust (2013)”, at the Deutsche Oper. For HETPALEIS in Brussels he worked with Schippers & Van Gucht to develop animations for the theatre play “Wat er gebeurde terwijl de mussen de polka dansten (2014)”.

Janja Glogovac

Janja Glogovac earned her M.A. degree at the Prague Film Academy - FAMU. She has made over 60 documentaries as a director, writer, and recently she has also begun working as a producer. She worked for Czech, Slovenian, and Croatian national TV. Her short film F was awarded as the best European short film, and documentary TITO was awarded in IDFA Film Festival. Her films were screened at film festivals in Cannes, Berlin, Argentina, Karlovy Vary, Raindance, and more. Janja’s feature film L... like love was chosen to be an opening film for the European meeting 27 countries started in Brussels, Barcelona, Lyon at the same time. The same film inspired the Valencia film festival organization to open a new section called film by women, dedicated to woman’s films in the industry.

Hyper Epic is a creative storytelling studio that brings together content, interactive forms of storytelling and design. Marco Ferrari

Writer and Director
Marco Ferrari is a writer/director based in Milan, Italy. In 2015 he has been finalist at the Italian competition “Premio Solinas” with his documentary project “Island”. In 2014 he completed his first feature film, “Simple Being”, presented at the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival. He has been shadow director on the TV series “Desperate Housewives” (ABC) and assistant director on the documentary series “The colors of the deserts” (ARTE). Michaela Pnacekova

Michaela heads the Kloos & Co Medien documentary film production subsidiary in Leipzig Kloos & Co. OST as a producer since July 2016. She worked as production manager on the documentary PRE-CRIME by Matthias Heeder and Monika Hielscher, which will have its World Premiere at HotDocs this year. Her focus in the new subsidiary is on new and young talents as well as on interactive media. Her first short film EMPIRE as a producer premiered in 2015 at the Montreal World Film Festival. Her documentary project BORDER CUT by Igor Chojna won Special Mention at the Bosch Stiftung East European Co- Production Prize 2014 and will be released in 2017. In October 2016, the short film PAPA BAER which she produced at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehenakademie in Berlin was premiered on German public broadcaster RBB. She has a MA in English and American Studies and Theatre Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. She was one of the programmers of the Czech queer film festival Mezipatra and for several years she worked at the Berlinale European Film Market, FilmFestival Cottbus, achtung berlin and was one of the project managers of NISI MASA, European Network of Young Cinema. Alumnus of Ex Oriente Workshop 2014, MAIA Workshop 2014, Bosch Stiftung East-European Co-Production Prize Nominee and id w workshop at Visions du Reel 2017.

Sonja Bozic is a multi-award-winning filmmaker and professor. Serbian native and New York City based, she has edited, directed, and produced a wide range of video forms that have been screened at the festivals internationally, including the Cannes Film Festival, and she participated in the 2013 Tribeca Hackathon as part of Frontline/ProPublica team. Sonja was on the committee of organizers for the Media Festival at the 2009 NAB/BEA conference in Las Vegas. Sonja is currently teaching film editing at the New School, New York City and transmedia at Montclair State University, New Jersey. She earned her PhD in Transmedia Storytelling at Ohio University, where her transmedia research was nominated for the Trisolini Fellowship Award. Born 1977 in Linz, Austria, Christian Tod is a filmmaker and an economist. His debut film, Fatsy - The Last Cowboy of Austria (Documentary, 54min, 2007) received an honorable mention at Crossing Europe Film Festival Linz in 2007. David Induni

David Induni was born in Argentina (Neuquén) in 1974. Studied graphic design and sculpting at Josefina Conte College (Corrientes-Argentina); joined the artistic group Grupo Arte Ahora in 1992. Studies at the National University, Department of Plastic Arts (Sculpture and Painting). After three years he moved from theory to practice and expanded his knowledge by traveling around the world. In 2009, He won the Collechio film festival in Parma and received the price for "Fist sellection" at the Roma film festival with his film "Le armi della liberà".

Jessica Luz is a Brazilian producer who graduated from UNISINOS with a degree in Journalism and Filmmaking. Pawel Ferdek

Paweł Ferdek, born in 1977 in Poland is one of Poland's most talented and original director and screenwriter. His documentary films was screened at festivals around the world, his fiction debut (as a screenwriter) was acclaimed by critics and audience as the freshest film of recent years in Poland. Ferdek graduated from European film program EKRAN in Andrzej Wajda Master School, Warsaw University’s Institute of International Relations and Academy of GARDZIENICE Theatre Company (work based on Jerzy Grotowski’s method). He also studyied in Werner Herzog's Rogue Film School in Los Angeles. Ferdek shot documentary films in Poland, Israel, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, China, USA. With his "Glass Trap" nominated for an EFA Award, he is a member of European Film Academy. He wrote an acclaimed script for feature fiction film "Ki" -it was selected for the Venice Film Festival 2011, won an Award as Best Polish Film at Off Plus Camera festival in Krakow, was distributed in cinemas in Poland and France. He is working for cinema and TV. His films was broadcasted in TVP, TVN, Canal +, Planete, ARTE. Ferdek works often with kids and teenagers- teaching them the filmmaking, storytelling, and usually they shoot short fiction films together as a result (mostly in horror/ thriller genre).

Salomé Jashi

Filmmaker
Salomé Jashi was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1981. She first studied journalism and worked as a reporter for several years. In 2005 she was awarded a British Council scholarship to study documentary filmmaking at Royal Holloway, University of London. Upon her return to Georgia, together with close friends Salomé founded production company Sakdoc Film that has since become the biggest in producing documentaries. Accept for filmmaking, Salomé was part of Caucadoc, a project that supported development of documentary scene in the South Caucasus. She at times tutors at international workshops.

Salomé’s previous film BAKHMARO made in co-production with ma.ja.de. filmproduktion and MDR/Arte received Honorary Mention for a Young Documentary Talent at DOK Leipzig, was awarded as the Best Central and Eastern European Documentary at Jihlava IFF and was nominated for the Asia Pacific Screen Awards and Silver Eye Awards in 2011. She lives between Berlin and Tbilisi.

Still in 2009 was curator and producer of the film exhibition "Santiago Álvarez – The Eye of the Revolution", that brought to Porto Alegre the work from the Cuban filmmaker. In 2011 won one of 4 scholarships awarded by IBERMEDIA to participate at the IV Diplomado en Documental de Creación in Cali, Colombia.

2013 –  released "PASSPORT TO EXILE", a transmedia performance that engaged the public in live and online presentations. Still in 2013 was selected to the 8º Talent Campus Buenos Aires, and in 2014 selected to Berlinale Talents, both events focused on young filmmakers designed by BERLINALE. Still in 2014 debut "WHAT’S IN YOUR MIND?", a theater play that mixes video and actors live interactions awarded with the Brazilian Fund Funarte Myriam Muniz 2013, and released "THE INVENTED VILLAGE", a web documentary in which signs General Coordination, research and video editing. The project is part of the awarded movie "The Village", directed by Liliana Sulzbach.

Signs Script, directing and editing of the shorts "Window" and "Love Contract", both documentaries, and "The Last Picture", result of Canon Short Film Competition, her first fiction. Currently develop projects and hybrid narrative researches with Cena Expandida, an artist collective she co-founded.

Andrius Lekavičius is all-around media storyteller recently living between Europe and Asia: Vilnius and Kuala Lumpur cities. In 31 years, the young creative succeeded in building a profile of all-around media storyteller and a promising start to his career as a filmmaker.
In 2014 Lekavicius was producer and story editor of a feature length documentary “Arvydas Sabonis. 11” which became the best grossing documentary in Lithuanian cinema history with 35.000 admissions and over €150 000 in the box-office. Lekavičius has written and directed several short films and high-end commercial and non-commercial audiovisual productions. Andrius is one of the Transmedia pioneers in Eastern Europe. He has been shortlisted among five finalists from all over the world to present his Transmedia concept in MIPCube Content 360 competition in Cannes.
In 2015 Andrius was selected to i_doc workshop, a project development programme for expanded documentaries in Switzerland and East-West Talent Lab in goEast Festival in Germany to develop his webdocumentary project “Blurred Border”. Right now Lekavičius is working on a few international cinema projects, documentary, fiction, and transmedia.

Carlo Lo Giudice has written and directed several short films and documentaries that have received recognition in national and international festivals such as: Genova Film Festival (1st prize; Salina doc fest (1st prize); Per un pugno di corti (1st prize); Bellaria Film Festival (2nd prize); Sottodiciotto film festival (2nd prize, special mention, critics’ prize); Pescara Corto Script (special mention); Festival della filosofia; Cinema Giovani Torino; Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Taormina; Arcipelago; Visioni Italiane; MED Film Festival; A.V.E. International Short Film Festival; Siena Corto Festival; FIKE Film Festival Evora-Portogallo; Opere Nuove, Infinity Film Festival; Videopolis, Roma Film Festival; Mediterranean Film Festival, Lavrio; etc. Some of his works have been broadcast internationally (Rai3 and Planete Poland). 
He studied cinema independently, with Nanni Loi, Raul Ruiz, Jem Cohen, Roberta Mazzoni and was awarded a degree by the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy of La Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis: “Governing Chance. Italian Documentary in the Age of the Desert of the Real”. His work has taken him to different countries (Portugal, Greece, Egypt, Palestine). He has held meetings on his work at the National School of Cinema (Rome) and has taught at the Faculty of Languages, Literature and Philosophy at the University of Catania and in various private institutions. He currently teaches at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Catania.

Fabienne Giezendanner

Creative storyteller
Since 2002 Fabienne participated in several interactive projects.
Sign of water, an immersive installation in partnership with Dadamédia and the Musée de l’Homme. Then she devoted herself to young audiences and in 2006, directed the Yi and the curse of the Celestial Emperor, a video game about Chinese culture.
The online game igloops.com. She wrote the Tuktulik TV series bible and joined the Red Frog studio. She also wrote and directed the short animated film Dwarf Giant, selected for Berlinale 2014. Since 2011, she has finally assembled the interactive game and broadcast of “The Gigaminus”, a connected and social TV project produced in collaboration with Zero de Conduite Productions, Gamific TV and Frima (Canada).
She currently works on the adaptation of Skyscrapers, a book written by Germano Zullo and Albertine, for the production of a short animation film. Fabienne has been teaching storytelling since 2004 in different schools including the Canton de Vaud School of Engineering (Switzerland).

Judith Aston

Judith Aston is co-director of i-Docs, the web-hub and international symposia for discussion and debate on the rapidly evolving genre of interactive documentary. She holds a PhD in Interaction Design from the Royal College of Art in London and a Masters Degree in the Social Sciences from the University of Cambridge. She was a pioneer in the UK’s emergent multimedia industry, working on videodisc and CD-ROM projects with the BBC Interactive Television and Apple Computing in the mid-1980s and has retained her involvement in this area ever since. As a documentary maker with a specialist interest in cross cultural communication, her work has brought her into contact with a wide variety of people including Tibetan monks, Tuareg nomads, museum archivists and factory workers. She is an associate lecturer in multiplatform production at the University of the West of England and is actively developing i-Docs related projects through her affiliation with the University’s Digital Cultures Research Centre.

Agnieszka Pokrywka (born in Poznan, Poland, currently lives in Helsinki, Finland) is a multi-educated hybrid and variously experienced professional in the field of visual arts, film, cultural organization, graphic/interaction design, and open source practice. Ana Maria Vîjdea was born in Romania in 1991. After studying Cinematography and Media at the Faculty of Theatre and Television in Cluj-Napoca, she moves to Turkey where she works on several film productions. In 2013 she finishes her BA studies at the University in Cluj Napoca. Her short films were shown at several film festivals around the world.
Her main interest is in the documentary field, but she also worked as a freelance director, producer, cinematographer and editor on a variety of news and commercial projects.

Andreea Mihalcea

Andreea Mihalcea (b. 1991, Romania) is a Bucharest-based film critic. In 2013 she graduated from the film studies and scriptwriting department of the National University of Film and Theatre “I.L. Caragiale”. During university she worked as script consultant, assistant director and production manager for several short student fiction films and also as programming assistant for the Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival. Member of the Émile Cantillion Jury at FIFF Namur (Belgium, 2011) and member of the Students’ Jury at San Sebastián IFF (Spain, 2012). Since 2011 she is a contributing editor of the film magazine Film Menu and cine-club moderator. She is currently in the development phase of the collaborative transmedia documentary project “Nearby” and of a personal feature short that has as starting point found photography.

Bojan Kanjera

Bojan is a structural backbone of every Aning film production bringing versatile experience gathered throughout his career. Studying to be a lawyer but at the same time being involved in various audiovisual productions, starting in theatre at the age of 16.
Bojan Kanjer and Matija Radeljak met in 2011 and quickly found a reliable business partner in each another. They form the core of the independent production company Aning Film, based in Zagreb. They have both been in love with art since the earliest ages, and for both of them it is the only constant they can remember since kindergarten.
Matija and Bojan and their three year old company produced 4 short films, one animated short and where involved in many commercial and authorial cross media projects as well as some international co-productions as minor co-producers. Their educational programme “Croatia goes cross-media” is first workshop on multi platform storytelling held in Croatia. With the support of Media desk Croatia and Croatian audiovisual center workshop is going to have its second edition in September 2014.

Elisabeth Rull

Author / Director
Author and director of “Memories Cut Short”, and daughter of the main character of the story “Tamas Rull”. Born and raised in 1975 in Paris, France. As photographer living and working in Lyon, Elizabeth is local correspondent for numerous national French and international publications (Le Monde, Libé, La Croix, L’Express, Financial Times etc.). Her photographic work is distributed by the Parisian agency Picturetank.
She routinely works with NGOs, such as Médecins du Monde (missions to Bolivia, Lebanon and Iran) and Habitat for Humanity. Her university education as a scientific researcher (Master degree in Molecular Genetics) instilled in her an insatiable curiosity to knowing, understanding and sharing. From homosexuality in Cameroon (Têtu, 2006) to a long-term portrait of Cardinal Barbarin, from the media-friendly campaign of the young socialist minister Najat Belkacem to the urban and human transformations of Lyon’s suburbs (Duchère, 2010),
Elisabeth is always and everywhere pursuing her quest of human discovery. In 2008, she founded the multimedia collective “The Womps,” which produces photographic raw materials based on an approach of socially-aware, humanist documentary. Their first web documentary, “Duchoramas, the Story of a Neighborhood in Transition,” is online through a partnership with French broadcaster “Le Progrès”.

Ioana Mischie

Storyteller
Ioana Mischie is an emerging Romanian screenwriter and a transmedia storytelling researcher, passionate about expanded mechanics of storytelling. Graduated in Audiovisual Communication and the Screenwriting MA Program with Highest Honours at The “I.L. Caragiale” National University of Theatre and Film – Bucharest, where she is currently enrolled in her first year of the PhD research. Her filmmaking training was enriched by international programs that selected her work like Berlinale Script Station (2012, Berlin, Germany), GoEast Young Professionals Program (2012, Wiesbaden, Germany), Midpoint Central European Script Center (2012, Prague, Czech Republic), Locarno Academy Meetings (2012, Locarno, Switzerland). Ioana collaborated as a screenwriter and co-writer to 15 short film projects and signed, as a director, six short films inspired by personal stories (to name just a few -“Between already and not yet”, “A la recherche d’espace perdu”, “Die, please”). So far, the directed shorts were selected and showcased by more than 50 international film festivals like GoEast IFF (Germany), Tampere IFF (Finland), Ficmec IFF (Liban), Timishort IFF (Romania), Les Films de Cannes a Bucharest (Romania). Her portfolio is a vivid apprentissage of filmmaking, creative writing and envisioning the world as a neo-creative playground.

Julia Eksner

Author / Director
Julia is a Polish-German writer, anthropologist, and educator born in Frankfurt/Main (Germany) in 1974. She has been working on majority-minority relations in Germany and the U.S. as both researcher and educator for the past 15 years. After graduating with an MA in Anthropology from the Freie Universität Berlin (2001), she worked at Northwestern University (Ph.D. 2007), UCLA (PostDoc 2009), the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (PostDoc 2010-2012) and Tel Aviv University (2012-13). Julia has been a video educator since 1999 and is the founder and former director of the non-profit StreetGriot Media Education (streetgriot.net), which teaches urban youths in Berlin visual arts and filmmaking, and designs and implements interactive online learning environments. Julia currently teaches in the international MA program Visual and Media Anthropology at the Freie Universität Berlin and is a professor of education at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

Laura has been working in the film industry since 2007. Laura’s career in the sector started with the Paris-based Media Consulting Group, where she worked as junior consultant and contributed to the coordination of film events (speakers and participants at World Forum on Strategy & Finance for Cinema 2007, Rome Film Festival). She later coordinated film and educational projects for the “Vilnius – European Capital of Culture 2009” programme. In 2011 Laura worked as Managing Director of the Vilnius Documentary Film Festival. Since 2008, Laura has worked on more than 10 film projects, including feature documentary, animation and fiction films. She produced two, co-produced one, and is currently working on three projects as associate producer. Laura specialises in social documentary and international co-productions. Laura co-produced the international documentary “Those Who Dare” by Olafur Rognvaldsson, Iceland, to be released internationally in March 2014. It is a film about the solidarity of small nations. A graduate from Sorbonne University (Master’s in Culture Economics), Laura also completed a course at Locarno Summer Academy for Young Filmmakers.

Since then she wrote and produced three short movies (“7 Sharp”, 2011, short Sci-Fi; “7 Dreams”, 2012, short experimental; “Objects in Mirror Are Closer than They Appear”, 2014, short drama) and worked as production coordinator for Filmster.ro (film video blog) and Film TEEP 2013 (co-production training program held in Bucharest). She is currently pursuing a master degree in Film and Visual studies at CESI Bucharest.

Stefania Casini

Director / Producer
After graduating in Architecture, Stefania began a career in acting and worked with Pietro Germi, Bernardo Bertolucci, Peter Greenaway and Dario Argento. She moved to New York in the late 70s, where she acted in Andy Warhol’s ‘Bad’. While in New York she decided to move behind the camera and became a director. With Francesca Marciano, she wrote and directed the film ”Lontano da dove”, presented at the Venice film festival (1983). In 1997 she wrote and directed another feature film “Un Paradiso di Bugie”. Hercareer as director also includes the making of six feature films for the Italian television network Mediaset. 
A passionate traveller, Stefania has made a great number of documentaries and reportages for Rai and Mediaset. She focuses her attention on contemporary topics concerning women and young people. As director she has made many hard-hitting series including: “Islam: stories of women”; “Latin America: stories of women”; “To be 20 years old in…”; “So close so far: portraits in the suburbs”. Between 2000 and 2002 Stefania was the Artistic Director of Siena’s Film Festival “Terra di Siena”. Currently, Stefania writes and directs programmes, reportages and documentaries for Rai and for satellite channels: she also works as journalist, contributing to several popular women’s magazines.

Bernadette Klausberger

producer
Bernadette Klausberger was born 1983 in Upper Austria. She has a background in cultural management, media sciences, video art, film festivals and PR. She works as a producer, project developer and trainer for media education programmes. Together with Niklas Hlawatsch she is running the Produktionsbüro Pfeiffers since they started studying film production at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). The shortfilm “Stampede” (part 1 of “In Panic”) and a thesis on transmedia storytelling were part of her graduation at dffb 2012.

Christian Davi

Producer
Born in 1967, Christian Davi is today developper, producer and co-owner of Hugofilm Productions. Together with Simon Hesse he’s the chairman of the Independent Swiss Producers Association IG.
After his academic studies of natural sciences at ETH Zurich, he worked at the theatre of Lucerne before making his master-studies at the filmschool DAVI in Lausanne. With his first feature documentary „Die Regierung“ (The Government) he won the Swiss film Price in 1999 and the Zurich Film Price in 1998. This succes announced the end of his filmmakers activity and the beginning of his career as producer.
Christian Davi worked besides as member of the national film board, occasionally as teacher for different filmschools and as chairman of GARP. He did Eurodoc with the feature documentary “Tinguely” and several other specific formations.
As producer for Hugofilm, he was during the last ten years in charge of around twenty feature documentaries and fictions for cinema and television.

Christian Ströhle

Project manager
35, has been working for 5 years at the Federal Office of Culture (Switzerland) in the film funding section (till 2011). He was head of film culture and all topics related to trends in movies, multimedia and games.
He now works as an independent transmedia project manager and consultant at mxlab, a resarch and development company dealing with traditional and new media. He also initiated and managed a transmedia series of events at five different film festivals in 2012 to get the transmedia movement in Switzerland kick-started.
Always fascinated by all sorts of communication, he studied cinema, linguistics and history of art, directed short-movies and devoted his free-time to all sorts of multimedia applications.

Fabio Ragazzo

Producer
Graduated in Economics and holder of Media Business School’s Mega Plus (Master in Audiovisual Management), Fabio worked for different film productions, festivals and communication agencies.
His break in New Media came working for the transmedia project “Collider” by beActive, the leading multi-platform production company led by Nuno Bernardo. He is currently the New Media Producer of Kinesis Film, where he runs Eikon, the newborn Transmedia Lab.

Hector Ulloque

Author & filmmaker
Chemical engineer and cinephile, Héctor Ulloque arrives in France in 2002 to make film studies. In 2006 he creates Medio de Contención producciones. His first film Hartos Evos Aquí Hay wins the best documentary award in Biarritz festival and the Otras Miradas award from the Latin-American council in social sciences. Currently, parallel to the production and transmedia storytelling, he develops projects that mix education and cinema.

Henry Páll Wulff

Born 1982 in Berlin, Henry Páll has become an Account Manager in the advertising industry before he changed the business and gained experience as Production Manager and Line Producer. In 2007 he co-founded the production company No Rational Product and started working as a director for music videos. His sense of justice and his penchant to be a do-gooder makes him change the focus to produce documentaries. His motivation is to explain complicated issues in a simple manner and to reveal unclear relationships and structures through investigative work. In his mind, an investigative documentary should also entertain the audience. In 2012 he joined the further education program “International Producing” at IFS, Cologne. He initially developed the idea of “Corporate Vikings” in 2011 and is the driving force within the production team.

Mar Medir

Development executive
She has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and another one in Literature Theory and Compared Literature. Later on she completed her studies with two postgraduated courses from ESCAC in Line Producing and Projects Development, the second one as an invited scholarship holder. Since 2005 she works as an executive producer and has participated in projects such as Luisa is not home, by Celia Rico (Biennale di Venezia 2012); Elisa K, by Judith Colell and Jordi Cadena (San Sebastian Film Festival 2010) or The scared breast, by Claudia Llosa (Golden Bear, Berlinale 2009). She has also worked as a consultant in co-productions, markets and international film festivals in Catalan Films & TV.

Melisa Muhtari

Author
Born in 1990 in Sarajevo, the main city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, she grew up in Bern, Switzerland. In 2012 she graduated at the University of Arts in Zurich in the CAST / audio-visual media department (CAST is a multimedia storytelling program). Now she’s working as an independent filmmaker on different audio-visual projects. The project “Sitting on the fence” is based on her Bachelor thesis of 2012.

Niklas Hlawatsch

Niklas Hlawatsch, born 1983 in Halle/Westfalen (Germany), studied Digital Film Making at the SAE Institute Cologne and film production at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. He works as a producer and production manager for various film companies. Since 2008 he is running the Produktionsbüro Pfeiffers, together with Bernadette Klausberger he has developed and produced 10 films and a media education programme for kids. Recently he was unit manager for Razor Film Production in Saudi Arabia.

Vito Robbiani

Vito Robbiani (1972, Swiss and Italian nationality), in 1993-95 majored in “Communication and Information Science” at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis (France) in the “Art, Communication and Languages” department. Nowadays he is an independent journalist, director and camera operator. Teacher in Documentary and Audio-visual Techniques at the professional University of Italian-speaking Switzerland (SUPSI) in Lugano. He is a member of the central committee of Switzerland’s federation of journalists, impressum and member of the ARF/FDS (Swiss Filmmakers Association).
